St Patrick's Festival

Comeraghs Comhaltas branch has been very involved with the St Patrick's Day Parade in Dungarvan for many years, most especially providing the entertainment for the waiting crowds in Grattan Square. In recent years  what was once a half- day event has become a festival over at least two days. This coming weekend with the National holiday falling on Monday, the day of the parade, Sunday evening will see plenty entertainment including a fireworks display scheduled for 9pm. Members of our Cúil Cheoil Group will play on the stage from 7pm to 8pm on Sunday evening and all the musicians, singers and dancers attending our classes will be on stage on St Patrick's Day entertaining the crowds as they await the parade. Our usual team of carpenters, engineers and artists are working on our float and a mystery team is being assembled to play on the float. See you there!
