For many years musicians, singers and dancers from all over Ireland and abroad have come to the Dungarvan area to perform, entertain and enjoy themselves.  Fleadhanna, Féiltí, An tOireachtas, the fantastic 2012 Fleadh Cheoil  na Mumhan not to mention the regular concerts, céilithe and sessions have established Dungarvan as a friendly and enjoyable venue where trad followers love to meet.  The area is associated with brilliant local performers, including members of internationally renowned bands like Danú and Caladh Nua and also boasts regular events like the Cúil na Sméar Concerts, The Connerys Singing Club and the “Local” Bar concerts.

Dungarvan’s attractions include great hotel accommodation, a fine range of restaurants, brilliant pubs for sessions, excellent seaside caravan and camping facilities, playgrounds, and walks in the Comeragh Mountains, woodlands or along the seashore.
